Unclaimed receipts are funds received by Vanderbilt University for which no account or amount payable has been identified. Unclaimed funds are credited to the university´s Bank of New York Mellon wire account, and should be claimed prior to each fiscal year end. The document below lists all currently unclaimed funds.
To Claim Funds:
1. Contact email@example.com regarding your department´s claim.
2. Follow External Transaction Procedures and prepare an External Transaction Spreadsheet with Cash Account COA 600.05.60000.1003.000.000.000.0.0 along with the appropriate Offset COA to clear it from the wire account.
3. Submit the External Transaction Spreadsheet to firstname.lastname@example.org along with support and the appropriate Business Unit Approver’s email approving the upload into the Oracle Cash Management Module.
